Since 1771, founder Rokubey opened a pottery kiln in Kyoto Gojozaka, it has been developed over time with Kyo yaki's history. The history and high technique have been passed on to generations and up until today, every process is done by hand.

[Precautions in use]
- Originally, pottery is highly absorbent.
- After purchase, be sure to soak in water or hot water before use, wash with water as soon as possible after use, dry thoroughly, and store in a cupboard.
- If left inadequately dried, it may sometimes cause "mold". Please be careful.
≪White painted pottery≫ The white painted area of pottery absorbs water easily, and as you use it, the water may soak in and the color may change. Also, when water soaks in, it can look like there is a crack however, it is showing the beauty peculiar to the characteristic of pottery. Please enjoy the changes in pottery.
≪Gohonde≫ There are pinkish colors on the surface of the pottery, but this is not a stain, it's a phenomenon peculiar to pottery called "Ohonte".
